Jason Burke
Vice President
Jason Burke joined ZRA as an associate in November 2017. At ZRA, he focuses on advising clients on issues at the intersection of technology, law, and public policy. His subject matter expertise includes cloud security, digital transformation, data strategy, and secure architecture design.
Before joining ZRA, Mr. Burke worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as a legislative assistant, where he managed an issue portfolio that included defense, foreign affairs, technology, and homeland security. In this capacity, he provided legal and policy analysis, drafted legislation, and provided voting recommendations. Before working for Congress, Jason worked as a cybersecurity fellow at the Center on National Security at Fordham Law, where he researched and analyzed developments in cybersecurity law and policy.
Mr. Burke received his B.A. in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008, his J.D. from Fordham Law School in 2012, and his M.S. in Cybersecurity in Computer Science from George Washington University in 2019. He is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars’ Cybersecurity Lab and the Partnership for a Secure America’s Congressional Partnership Program.
Mr. Burke is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
